Kurt dropped his gaze when Sam spotted him looking at him. Clearly it was making him uncomfortable. Why were the hot guys always the seemingly straight ones? First Finn and now Sam. He supposed Sam could be into guys though. It was always worth a try.
The sound of Violet's voice broke him from his thoughts and he looked back at her. "No. Simply admiring the view," he commented. His sexuality was hardly a secret around school after all.

Michelle frowned at the teacher, breaking her out of her amusement by Kurt. Apparently they weren't any different out of class. "Maybe when I get old, I'll think about it. But I still have a life to live."
And with that Michelle turned to Kurt, hoping that the finality in her tone would shut Shelby up. "Then you won't mind if I do." She finished off her ice cream and stood up. She headed for Sam's booth.
She put on the best smile she could muster. "Hi there," she said. "Got some spare time?"

His straw made a slurping noise as he finished up his milkshake. Sam looked at it in disappointment, wanting more. The Lima Freeze was sort of relaxing and if he went home now it'd mean helping his old man with ship bottling. He heard a voice and peeked up to see that blond girl from school. Someone was talking to him? Even if he didn't know her he supposed that was good.
"Yeah, sure, hang on one second."
He got up and headed over to the trash, throwing away his empty cup and decided to get another. After ordering--this time a Chai Tea Latte, whatever the hell that was--he glanced over at Kirk or whoever and that teacher and decided to give a little wave. Though they probably had no idea who he was and thought he was some creeper. Once he was given his latte and walked back over to the girl and sat down.
"Okay, now I'm good. I'm Sam Evans. You go to McKinely, right? I'm new there."

The brunet's mouth dropped open slightly as he watched the girl go over to Sam. Oh no, he was not losing out to a girl again!
He quickly got to his feet and stalked over to where she and Sam were. "We were hoping we could all hang out and get to know eachother," he commented with a small smile.

Sam looked at the boy in surprise.
"Oh, okay, that's pretty nice of y'all . . .Um, you're--um, Kirk, right?" He scratched the back of his head, feeling slightly awkward. "And you"--he glanced at the girl--"well, I'm not sure if you're in any of my classes."

Michelle waited for Sam to finish ordering. She had been about to open her mouth and talk to Sam when Kurt showed up. "Took you long enough, Kurt," she said, winking at him. "We were just about to have a little chat."
Then she looked at Sam. "What Kurt said. I'm Michelle, but call me Violet. What class are you again? I can't remember where I saw you."
In actual fact, Michelle had never seen him before. But she figured she'd fake it for Kurt's sake.

Sam cocked an eyebrow. "How do you get Violet out of Michelle?" He chuckled at bit. "I'm in Physics, Spanish, Gym, and AP Math. Actually we might all have Spanish together. I think, not sure. I don't pay much attention in that class."

So Sam sort of knew his name...he was only a few letters out. "It's Kurt, not Kirk but you were close," he commented with one of his awkward sounding laughs.
((Urk writers block and going for the night lol.)

Michelle smiled. "My favourite colour is purple. That's why. I'm not in Spanish, though. I'm in English Literature, Biology, Music, and I go to World History with Kurt."
Then she frowned. Sam didn't pay attention in class? "Do you do good in Spanish?"

"Cool," he said to Kurt and then turned to Michelle.
"I guess that's a good enough reason, but Michelle's pretty too," Sam said, smiling at the other blond. "Oh, sorry, I assumed everyone took a foreign language and Spanish is the most common so . . . And yeah, I do good. It's easy, that's why I don't pay attention. I've had all A's in school my whole life basically. My parents are super strict." He rolled his eyes.

Michelle took his explanation well. She smiled again. "Well, knowledge is good to pursue. Your parents probably know that." Then she hesitated. "I don't know a different language. Kurt, do you?"
She looked up at the soprano, hoping to get him involved in the conversation. He was the one who was interested, after all. Michelle could care less about dating Sam. Although, the fact that he did well in class made her take a liking to him. They would be good friends, should the opportunity to actually be friends come along. She was just here on Kurt's account.

"I guess," Sam said, shrugging. "I kind of wish I took French though. More sophisticated." He took a sip of his Chai Tea Latte and glanced over at Kurt. "You seem more like the type to take French, Kurt."

Okay, so what happened was-- it started out with this senior chick named Amelia or something like from the high school band. During half-time, it just so happened that she trotted over, some sort of small silver instrument in hand-- what was that? a flute, or something? --and introduced herself. And then asked him on a date. And of course, he accepted-- why wouldn't he? She was hot and she had the guts to ask him first. He loved that kind of girl.
And then, he hated that kind of girl, because she totally stood him up. Puck now stood looking around, rather dumbly too, for the sight of any redheaded chick. There wasn't a redheaded chick around. There was a blond one. And Hummel. And that new kid whose name he didn't catch yet. And whatsherface-- she looked attractive, but too much like Berry-- and-- why the heck was he doing in here? This was the lamest place he could ever agree to meet at. And yet, here he was.
Okay, so maybe she was late. He just accepted that as an excuse and headed towards the counter, where he continued to lean over, flirt with the female there, before ordering himself a drink.

Sam glanced over the heads of Michelle and Kurt, eyeing the tough looking guy that had just arrived. He looked familiar. He was on the football team, wasn't he? Finn talked about him before--how he was a jerk who knocked up his ex-girlfriend or something. So much drama for a small town. Sam was pretty sure his name was something weird--Puck, that was it, like the trouble-making satyr from Greek mythology.

Did this woman seriously just give him a strawberry and banana milkshake when he asked for the best drink in the place? Puck sipped the drink once more. She certainly did. He pushed the shake away and gave the waitress a pointed look. "Look, babe, if me and you are going to do something, you gotta get me something better than this." His eyebrows curved down, matching his faint pouting expression. The waitress stared at him. "Okay. Do you like pineapple?" "No." "Apples?" "No." "Bananas?" "I don't need more than one. So, no." She gave him a stiff look, then turned and said something else to a nearby waiter.
While the two were murmuring something to each other, Puck had taken another glance around the room. That blond chick really looked hot. But she was near Hummel, who was with that new guy. Pushing himself off from leaning against the counter, the football player walked over towards this little assembly, and ever so innocently, wrapped his arm around the blond girl's shoulders. "Hey, I'm Puck," he introduced himself, totally ignoring the other guy and Hummel altogether.
